Carrie Scruggs started playing the harp as a little girl. Her grandmother, who attended Julliard School of Music, taught her how to play the harp. They shared a special bond. Carrie went on to Vanderbilt University Blair School of Music, on a full scholarship. She received her undergraduate degree in Music, with a Pre-Med concentration. After graduation, she continued at Vanderbilt, and received her Masters in Science of Nursing, and became a nurse practitioner. Currently, she lives in Athens, Georgia and works as a Nurse Practitioner, and continues to play her harp for weddings, parties, church events, and concerts. Carrie has played all over North Georgia and looks forward to sharing her love of music and making your special day memorable.
